Volunteer, it's good for everyone

Here's to more volunteers! Thank You to all that helped during Saturday's volunteer day at Hartman Creek.

No building Sunday, May 2nd

As the weekend approaches we want to let everyone know there will be no building on Sunday, May 2nd. The WORS race is being held in Iola and we would like everyone to enjoy it if they so choose.

We will be starting the first group ride of the year on Tuesday, May 4th. Meeting at the Oakridge Trail System Trailhead at 5:30pm (same as trailbuilding). Bring your friends so they can experience the trail too!

Also, we want to give a BIG THANK YOU to the Friends of Hartman Creek as they have agreed to donate more tools to aid in the construction of the trail!

With this wonderful spring we have been having we hope everyone has been out enjoying the beautiful weather, and if you are racing on Sunday GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

SuNDay APril 25Th

3 of my favorite things Off Road bike trails, people that build trails, and pizza. Come out to Hartman Creek State park and help build trail from 1-4pm. We'll feed you after. I'll also bring a cooler with some choice beverages. Hope to see everyone there! Don't forget bring a bike, gloves, and some water. We'll have tools, bug spray ,and a spot for you to pitch in. HeRe WE gO

The trails are ready for the season. Downed trees are removed and and leaves are all blow off. Soooo... it's on to the new trail. Sunday 1-4PM we will meet at the oak ridge trail parking area and head in for some fresh single track. You just need to bring a bike and the basic supplies(water, gloves, bug spray) for an afternoon in the woods and we'll have the rest. Looking foward to another great season of trail work!

Time To MAke Trail

It's on again for 2010! Starting Thursday April 8Th at 3:30 pm and Sundays Starting on April 11TH from 1-4pm. We'll be meeting in the Oak Ridge Trail parking lot and biking back to work on fresh trail. The goal this year is to finish the intermediate trail. We'll be at it until that is done. Fresh Trail

Here's some fine new trail brought to you by Darrin,Amy,Randal ,Mesh, Carrie and Jeremy. Thanks guys and enjoy. We are nearing the end of this build season, but there's still time to get in 6 hrs and get entered to win a Surly 29er karate monkey. We'll be at it very Sunday from 1-4pm until the ground freezes or hunting season begins. It's not too far until the intermediate trail tread is complete. Come on out and help us keep it moving foward! Because we love single track!!!
